The Itema Active Brake allows to optimize the braking force of each weft insertion phase. It is the ideal solution in case of low tenacity weft yarns, such as wool, that need different treatment at each stage of the insertion.
Programmable directly from the loom console, the setting is easy and intuitive. Moreover, when weaving without tuck-in devices, the Itema Active Brake improves the selvedge formation leading to a reduced weft waste on the right side.
