Energy Consumption Optimized weaving with Real Time Control

The patented ECOweave is an intelligent, active real time control (RTC) system that influences the current weft insertion rate, optimizing the nozzle blowing times. The RTC controls the duration of the blowing times, irrespective of the weft material and yarn count being woven. The weaving machine adjusts the air jet insertion cycles continuously during every pick insertion for minimal air consumption. The system is acting so fast that it is possible to adjust the blowing times during the insertion instantaneously, not only for the next pick. Depending on the weft yarn and machine width, air consumption is reduced by 10 to 20 percent.

On A9500 and A9000 an electronic air consumption meter can be installed right after the air intake. The reading of the sensor is transmitted to the electronics of the weaving machine and used to report the air consumption during weaving as well as during the loom stop.
