The FPA – Free Positive Approach – EVO UltraLight Weft Transfer, featuring a race board with no guiding elements in the shed, combines the versatility of a positive rapier system with higher performances and efficiency, allowing weavers to weave with endless creative possibilities even the most sophisticated and complex fabrics, which require delicate and special yarns such as cashmere, silk, from finest to coarsest woollen yarns, chenille, lurex and bouclé.
The FPA EVO UltraLight Weft Transfer features an innovative rapiers design with reduced dimensions and weight thus ensuring superior production speed and maximum textile flexibility. Moreover, the receiving gripper with scissors opening system effectively withstand superior machine speed.

Pneumatic tuckers allow utmost fabric quality and the possibility to weave very narrow tucked-in selvedges. In the EVO version, pneumatic tuckers feature high frequency valves and synchronized motor for cutters, thus providing maximum reliability.
The Itema Pneumatic Tuckers are the best solution on the market when weaving without the need to shorten the fabric support. In fact, the Itema exclusive blowing system ensures a high selvedge quality without speed limitations and with simple and fast settings.

ITEMA ELECTRONIC WEFT BRAKES
The Itema Electronic Weft Brake ActiveBRK has been specifically designed and developed to ensure different braking areas during the weft insertion cycle, thus optimizing the braking force of each weft insertion phase. It is the ideal solution in case of low tenacity weft yarns, such as wool, that needs different treatment at each stage of the insertion.
Programmable directly from the machine console, the setting is easy and intuitive.

The EVOConsole features a 15.6” wide touch, full glass, capacitive display. The EVOConsole offers wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity in addition to LAN connection and is prepared for data analysis and IoT functionalities. The advanced, intuitive user-interface enables smart communication between the machine and the operator.
