ITEMA ACADEMY GOES DIGITAL
Born in 2014, Itema Academy is a highly rated apprenticeship that provides the best of Itema’s expertise and resources to young graduates who want to start their careers in an international and dynamic multinational company.
Over the last seven years Itema confirmed and hired several young talents who are still working in the Company, while other Itema Academy colleagues have reaped the benefits of this highly educational internship, being facilitated in building their future career and in developing their full potential.
“The value of the Itema Academy program lies in its innovative 24-months structure: introductory and advanced courses are paired up with direct hands-on training within the Company’s main business functions, according to participants’ interest, with the aim of maximizing their potentials”, explained Mr. Federico Clemente, Itema Group HR Director. “For 2021 edition we decided to introduce a digital-oriented approach to prepare our graduates to face all the challenges and opportunities coming from the digitization process, a phenomenon that is undeniably affecting and shaping traditional and new ways of doing business worldwide”.
Participants will have the daily chance to put into practice what learnt during their periodical theoretical courses by being actively involved in the departments’ activities, they will be required to work on concrete projects in order to master new competences and skills. Moreover, thanks to the involvement of all the main functions in the project – from Research and Development, Operations (including Production Processes, Quality Control, Planning, Lean Manufacturing) to Sales, Marketing and IT- each participant will have the opportunity to cultivate their talent and to turn it into a successful career.
