Dear Colleagues, Customers and Partners,
2020 represents a stage of important change for the whole world and for Itema. In these first months at the head of Itema Group, we witnessed an escalation of the crisis generated by the pandemic, an unpredictable scenario that we faced on a global scale as a company and, first of all, as people. I am very proud of the promptness and flexibility shown by the companies of the Group and by all the people who make it up.

Sharabati Denim is among the most renowned denim mills in the world, featuring a customer portfolio that includes globally famous fashion brands and mass retailers and exporting its fabrics to 27 countries worldwide. Itema has a longstanding partnership with the company and w recently had an interesting discussion with Mr. Nehad Set Alyaman, Sharabati Denim General Manager to deepen the company strategy and to discover more about their experience with the Itema weaving technology.

The COVID-19 pandemic spread the world is facing represents, no doubt, a never-before-seen situation. Itema Group and its 7 manufacturing sites worldwide including Itema S.p.a., Lamiflex and Schoch plants dealt with this sanitary emergency with a significant reorganization phase, by putting in the first place the safety of their people and their families.

Meet our Brand Ambassador Mr Guo Ping Tang, Blue Dream (Lan Zhi Meng)

Blue Dream (Lan Zhi Meng) is a located in the so-called “China’s Weaving City”, Lanxi, in the central western part of Zhejiang province. Founded in 2006, this family owned company rapidly grew and expanded, till becoming today one of the main suppliers of denim brands worldwide.
